Free Tax Houston is a program developed to provide free tax preparation for low and moderate-income familiies in south Houston and surrounding areas.  Through our free tax and financial services, we serve low-wage families with annual incomes of 50,000 or less and singles with incomes of 40,000 or less. The goal of Free Tax Houston is to decrease poverty and to expand economic independence in Houston and surrounding areas by increasing the participation rate and use of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) by eligible low and moderate income working individuals.  This programs provides asset building products/tools, financial education, and free tax preparation.
