2009-2010 After-School Youth Enrichment Program
The Bethel’s Place After-School Youth Enrichment Program provides a safe haven for youth after-school in the Fondren Southwest community of Houston. Youth attend a program that provides numerous learning opportunities through enrichment activities such as arts and crafts and also receive homework assistance. Youth empowerment seminars and life skills activities are also provided in this setting.

Ages: Kindergarten-8th grade
Dates: September 14th- May 21st
Time: 3:30pm-5:30 pm
Enrollment forms may be picked up at Bethel’s Place Community Empowerment Center, 12525 Fondren Rd. Suite A, today.

The Bethel’s Place Job Search Network Group is dedicated to building an effective and powerful network of job seekers, business owners, managers, and HR/placement professionals. We are about moving out of the traditions and trappings of JOB SEARCH and making a real difference in the lives of all people.
BETHELS PLACE JOB SEARCH NETWORK GROUP IS:
- Committed to helping people living in and around the greater southwest region of Houston
- Offering job search support and confidentiality in a structured, professional setting
- About teaching and training for an effective job search or career improvement
- Reliant upon the local community (its citizens, organizations, and businesses) for its job placement support
Job Search Network Group programming includes: THE MAIN EVENT is a weekly gathering for job seekers, employers, and recruiters. During these meetings we will present information for a life changing experience dedicated to making you a better candidate for new employment. There will be repeating themes presented throughout an eight week cycle with various guest speakers and well-experienced trainers bringing fresh new ideas and encouragement. Meetings are held every Wednesday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. These sessions are open to the public and are presented FREE of charge.
